INJURY COMPENSATION CLAIMS

People are injured in Queensland in motor vehicle collisions and workplace accidents everyday. For these injuries, you may be entitled to make a claim to compensation.

For each type of claim, the state government has provided separate and different laws dealing with the process of making a claim for obtaining access to rehabilitation services and to compensation.

Most laws are not easily or completely understood by any person other than a lawyer.

The claims process also requires injured people to:

• Deal with the CTP insurer, WorkCover and or their lawyers, each of whom knows exactly what they are doing.

• Prepare lengthy and often complex documentation without knowing the full consequences of the information they provide.

• Assess their own compensation value using special rules and require them to make offers of settlement.

• Participate in meetings and to negotiate a settlement of the claim with the CTP insurer, WorkCover and their lawyers

This process must be the last thing that any injured person wants to do during their recovery and rehabilitation and injured people are often not the best person to present their claim in its best possible light.

The claims process can also be slow and expensive unless handled properly.

Frampton Legal has:

• A strong market reputation for effectively and economically dealing with injury compensation claims.
